Makiti Guides & Tours was born out of a love and excitement about the diversity and colourfulness of the New South Africa and the rainbow nation.

It has always been our passion to provide learning incentives for excellence to prospecting Tourist Guides. We are the first in South Africa to offer online cultural courses for Tourist Guides. These are time and cost effective, allowing the student to progress at his/her own pace. Although we put high value on knowledge, our goal is to ultimately train Tourist Guides that are not only knowledgeable, but equipped and skilled to conduct a memorable tour in a professional, yet very personal way. We believe that visitors to our country should have a very special experience wherein the Guide plays an important role.
